Dear Rosa,

You were kind enough to spend an hour with my wife and me last October talking about Lord Byron and the Society.

Below is what I wrote, which appears in a prominent book review site in America. I mention the Society towards the end of the essay.

We loved Missolonghi, (and Greece) and visited the Garden of Heroes after we left you.

That night a huge storm broke out — wind, rain, thunder. Appropriately Byronic.

We will return to Greece. We have traveled to many countries. We both feel the Greeks are the finest people we have met.
