Visit to the Acropolis Museum to see a small exhibition featuring the Sultan’s firman that allowed Byron to travel freely across the Ottoman Empire. This passport is a unique item of Byron memorabilia that has not been displayed in public before. Also featured is the painting by Louis Joseph Toussaint Rossignon of the blessing before the Exodus of Messolonghi by Bishop Joseph of Rogon (who officiated at Byron’s funeral).
